I am interested in setting up a 90 gallon discus tank. What is some of the equipment I'm going to need? I've read about RO and RODI water, but that needs to be reconstituted to be suitable. I'd like to set it up with plants (kind of like the big discus tank at the store). Any suggestions on how to get started and how to allow the discus to thrive?

I suggest you go to the store this Saturday at 1 pm,
the Plant Club is going to do a demonstration...
I'll reply again with more details here when I get a little more time...
...basically...
discus need
very warm water
very frequent feedings of a wide variety of foods
and frequent large water changes
(not a good pet if you travel often)

also they are often shy and should be the largest fish in the tank

we're a little low on in stock discus for sale, 3 or 4 right now...
hope to have another shipment in around a week
