I've been keeping fish off and on for a long time and have had dozens of tanks.Mostly fresh, but a couple fish only(23 yrs ago?) saltwater tanks.I've kept most filters and heaters on the market and have wasted a lot of money upgrading lousy ones.I'm still no 'expert' but in my experience I'd spend your money on an Eheim.
