Ned anything special I should do for the Koi this spring considering the extra mild winter we had this year ?
I have the filter up and running and leaves cleaned out. I am planning on starting to feed in early April.
All the fish seem to have wintered well no one is missing that I can tell

if we get a really warm day, and you measure the pond temp above say 53 F
go ahead and try a small ammount of wheat germ / spring food

COLD AGAIN !
so
do not feed your Koi

average temp in the Millis area
expected to be 46 degrees F
from April 5 to April 15

this is warm enough to feed goldfish lightly
but
koi ideally should not be fed til the water is about 52 degrees F

so check your water temperature please !
