Ned,

I did find levamisole here: http://lambriarvet.com/sbsite.php Do you have any experience using it for nematode infections in fish?

I am wondering what the amount per gallon would be. Wouldn't want to kill fish with the cure.

Any advice would be helpful.

Greg

Ineed a little help with this one.

One effective bath treatment dose is 2 ppm (mg/liter) levamisole for 24 hours, with a repeat treatment in two to three weeks.

is it in pure form or in a sheep tablet?
If it is a sheep tablet then my experience has been add 10mg/l of the crushed tablet. after 2 days do a 50% water change then add another dose. Continue for 2-3 doses minimum.
This drug is very safe for all tank inhabitants. (except the nematodes)

It's messy though. I got it as a crushed form, and used it the same dosage that was prescribed by fishmommy. It worked like a charm though, no more camallanus in any of the fish and some apistos survived and even bred just a few weeks after.

the pure form I believe is discussed on the Krib site. I would do a google search for "levamisole HCL nematodes" or somesuch.
