Ned:

I have a small tank of a few gallons on my desk at work. Today I noticed 5 snails that I did not purposefully introduce. I believe they came from a piece of wood which originated from within a tank at a local store. They have small copper colored shells and range from tiny to maybe 1/4". The tank is heavily planted with few fish. Should I be alarmed? Is there anything that would eat these that could live in a tank this small?

Thanks,

Ben

get a yoYo or clown loach which eat snails

Thanks Ned. I was alarmed by stories of snails multiplying like crazy and devouring plants.
